The Highland Sell Outs

The Highland Sell-Outs is a 4-piece folk band from Groningen. Since 2013 they have been touring all over the country and can be found in bars and pubs, on music venues and at festivals such as Middeleeuws Winschoten or the Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival. These skilled musicians take the audience into the atmosphere of Scottish Highlands and Irish pubs with their contemporary rendition of folk music with pop and rock influences. Violinist and singer Sebastiaan, guitarist Steven Prins, bassist Robin Sprang and drummer Tim Lechner are inspired by bands like Rapalje, The High Kings, Killkennys.

The Highland Sell-Outs have successfully introduced Irish folk and ballads to young audiences while also winning the hearts of seasoned folk enthusiasts.
