Celtic Folk Festival EM2: Halloween 2023!

We are proud to announce that the Celtic Folk Festival will return to EM2, Groningen this year for a unique evening full of music, dance and culture. The festival will take place on November 3, 2023 at the EM2, where lovers of good music and a lot of fun will come together for an unforgettable experience

This edition it's Halloween themed again, so put on your favorite costume and bring all your friends!

The presale price is valid until October 26. Afterwards, tickets are available at the door for €25 each.

The line up 

Jick Munro & The Amazing Laser Beams guarantees a great party. They have previously performed in Paradiso, at Zwarte Cross, TT Assen, Pinkpop and last June at our Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival. The reaction of the visitors there was so enthusiastic that we definitely wanted to have them there in the EM2 and we succeeded!

The popular folk rock formation flannery is not unknown to many festival goers. With their up-tempo, melodic folk rock they have already rocked many halls and festivals and amassed a large group of loyal fans!

Organizer Rapalje is well on its way to their 30th anniversary and has performed all over the world. These professional musicians are not only known for their musical qualities, but also for the pleasant chaos they bring with them everywhere. From a fire bagpipe to a t-shirt cannon; The audience is surprised again with every performance. In addition to well-known sing-along songs such as “Wat Zullen We Drinken”, “Whiskey in the Jar”, “Skye Boat Song” and “The Drunken Sailor”, you can also expect original and new material this evening!
