Anyone who has ever been to our Zomerfolk festival or to previous editions of the Celtic Folk Festival knows that we always do everything we can to give you an unforgettable experience. Previous editions in Groningen, Orvelte and Germany were hugely successful. During our show you can enjoy sing-along songs such as “The Drunken Sailor”, “Whiskey in the Jar” and of course “Wat Zullen We Drinken”. We also perform, among other things, the ballad “The Skye Boat Song” made famous by the hit series “Outlander” in an unforgettable way. During the Celtic Folk Festival we will also be bringing along our new guest violinist Sebastiaan Hidding, known from The Highland Sell-Outs and The Dolmen, among others. Moreover, we also take the time to have a drink with you, have a chat and of course for autographs and photos.

On October 1 this great event is coming to the P60 in Amstelveen. In addition to a grand concert of our own, the group Pyrolysis will also perform. Pyrolysis is a young and energetic folk band. Although their self-written songs mainly wink at Celtic folk music, full-force punk, gypsy and pirate influences are also clearly audible. Five young musicians full of enthusiasm, armed with bouzouki, accordion, bodhrán, violin and bass, play a strong, energetic, but still intimate and cozy performance that takes the audience to a place where one can forget all worries.

In addition, there will also be a solo performance by William and Rosalie Wagenaar and her sister Madelief will provide Irish dance during our performance. Rosalie has been dancing with Rapalje for over 13 years and is also the owner of the successful dance school 'Rose Irish Dance School'. The Rose Irish Dance School has already given many special performances, including at Najib & Jandino Live in De Kuip, the TV program Circus Gerschtanowitz, the National Taptoe in Ahoy and Belgium's Got Talent. You can also see their audition for the new season of Holland's Got Talent on October 7.
