A country/folk band with a unique sound. At a show by The Shannons, fans of country, Americana and Irish sing-alongs will be completely pampered! With music by Dolly Parton, The Dubliners, Dropkick Murphy's, Johnny Cash, Mumford & Sons, The Pogues, Emmylou Harris and many others. The Shannons also play their own work, which falls exactly within this genre. Noel and Lynn Shannon have toured Europe together for years, performing folk music, among other things. Now that the base is back in the Netherlands, they have added their love for country music to Irish folk.
“Country music fits perfectly with the Irish folk we were already playing,” says Lynn Shannon. “We play both styles of music from our heart. The audience feels and sees that and it gives the feeling that you as a venue form a unity with the audience. The mutual love for music”.

It is impossible to stand still during a show by The Shannons, but between the stirring music that almost everyone knows, the band occasionally plays a ballad that touches the heart.
